Dear Fellow Firefighters:

The Clinton County Firefighters’ Association in conjunction with the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs is presenting a unique training experience on Sept. 26^th and 27^th of this year. The NYSAFC Flashover Simulator will be at the Office of Emergency Services to offer two days of specialized training for our members. This training would usually have a fee of over $100 per trainee at the Chief’s Show, through donations we will be able to conduct the training at only $20 per participant.

Attached you will find a sign-up sheet that provides further details and gives you the opportunity to choose the session you wish to attend. Sessions will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and it may be necessary to assign a different time slot as sessions fill.

CCFA Member Departments will have first chance to sign up for this training. We are initially (through 8/31) limiting to four members per department and will allow each department to provide up to four additional members for a waiting list. Initial sign-ups must be submitted to NYSAFC by 8/31/15.

During the period of 8/31/15-9/14/15 we will fill remaining slots from the waiting list. Any remaining slots left after the waiting list has been exhausted will be open to any firefighters from the area (Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties) that may wish to participate. 9/14/15 is the cut-off for participants to sign-up. Any additional availability after 8/31/15 will be communicated to our member departments.

Monies will be collected at the training sessions, departments will be responsible for payment of all members signed up to participate (regardless of whether they attend or not).
